"The Alphabet Books"

The Alphabet books is a collection of twenty-seven different books, with twenty-seven pages, with twenty-seven images all handmade by myself in twenty-seven days. Each book is a different letter of the alphabet with a word that coincides with that letter. The obsession with the number twenty-seven stems from my current age and the constant reminders that of that age by my co-workers, friends, and family. These books will showcase the last twenty-seven years of my life or pieces of it.
This project will be started March first with an ending date of March twenty-seventh. On that date, there will be an art show either in Richmond, Va. or Gainesville, Fl. or Brooklyn, Ny. The books will be available for purchase at the show and any books remaining will be posted on this website for sale or given to friends. There will also be a book of twenty-seven photos taken during the process of creating these books that will be given to anyone one that purchases a book and there will be a limited number up for sale as well.
